How to use UNIFEED
How to choose which type of Unifeed to administer in the right period.
Unifeed particularly rich in vitamins, provitamins and microelements to be administered about 2 months before laying (late winter-early spring); stimulates mating subjects, increases fertility and promotes proper hatching of the eggs. We recommend the use of Unifeed Reproduction also in the interphase between one brood and another to allow females and young adults now grown to resume a diet with less protein content
BREEDING
Unifeed with a higher protein content (about 19%), mineral salts and vit.D for proper growth of chicks; it is used from the eggs’ hatching (one or two days earlier) until the weaning of the young; the sole administration is recommended or, in the case of females reluctant to handfeeding, it could be combined with Unifeed Vita. To increase its taste, it can be administered moistened with water in the proportion of 1/3 on the total weight of the compound feed (i.e. out of 30 gr of the total amount 20gr. of Unifeed Breeding Canaries and 10gr. of water).
VITA
Unifeed with a higher protein content (about 19%), mineral salts and vit.D for proper growth of chicks; it is used from the eggs’ hatching (or a day or two before) to the weaning of the young. Unifeed VITA can be administered to avian subjects both in dry and classic humidified form (mix an equal quantity of water 100 gr/100 ml, wait 40 minutes then mix the product thoroughly before serving), both in quick preparation humidified product (100 grams of product + 50 ml of water – wait 5 minutes). It can be used in combination with Unifeed Breeding canaries.
MOULT
Unifeed with a higher content of sulfur amino acids and zinc to support the metabolism in a delicate period such as the moult.
MAINTENANCE
Unifeed throughout the year, for non-breeding or newly weaned individuals, for incubating females. It has the purpose of supporting and restoring liver functions after metabolic stress such as egg-laying (females) and moult.
VITA LIGHT
Unifeed VITA-LIGHT can be administered to avian subjects in dry or moistened form (see unifeed VITA). During the breeding period of the chicks it should be replaced with Unifeed VITA.
