Unifeed Happy Parrot Weaning, Unifeed Imbecco Psittacidi and Unifeed Psittacidi are formulated and designed to have the same organoleptic qualities (same flavor and aroma) thus allowing to anticipate the weaning of parrots in “hand” breeding for weeks and get used to definitive diet. The parrot, in fact, perceiving the same taste of the jelly with which it grew, starts to feed itself and first with Unifeed Happy Parrot Weaning and then continue with Unifeed Psittacidi Maintenance (medium large or small size, depending on the species). </ P >
Method of use : add 30 to 40% of the weight of water to the product in order to achieve a compact consistency (e.g. 60 grams of powder + 40 grams of water). Administer in a special bowl in an exclusive formula. To encourage the first hiring (in subjects of a suitable age for weaning), it is necessary to skip the administration of one or two consecutive meals with the imbecco pappa and simultaneously propose the wet product to the parrot; it is also useful to form wet product balls with your fingers and put them on the tongue of the parrot when it manifests the behavior of the imbecile (rhythmic movements of the head). Once certain of the assumption it will be possible to eliminate the imbecco formula. After some time (after weaning is complete) the administration of the dry product will be possible.
Warnings: scrupulously make sure that the product has been taken before completely stopping the feeding meal. Monitor the health and weight of the animal in this critical phase (a 10% decrease in the weight of the subject is physiological during weaning, a greater weight loss must alarm, in this case it is advisable to contact your veterinarian avian); replace the moistened products daily. Make a bowl of fresh water available daily. Close the box to ensure its fragrance.
